The ECM is a new and exciting critical component of regeneration of tissues as it functions as a scaffold for stem cell implantation. What's even seen as more important is its mechanical load bearing properties that many tissues such as cartilage, tendons and ligaments require in order to adequately restore tissue integrity. In essence, the ECM are the building blocks of many tissues needed for healing. Without this component then it is only partially fixed and the patient may be under treated. The addition of this creates a strong force resistant tissue.

The FDA-approved surgical technology, Extracellular Matrix (ECM), is a resorbable wound healing product that helps remodel injured tissue. Made from pig bladder or human placenta, both rich sources of tissue regeneration properties, this system supports meniscal, various cartilage damage such as hip or knee, shoulder injuries and partial tendon tears.

At Spectrum Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Center we strive to produce the best orthobiologics for greatest outcomes. Many stem cell clinics do not use these advanced regenerative medicine products and they may achieve below above average results.
